Read for Your Life by Pat Williams

Read for your Life

Non-Fiction

As someone who has read from an early age,  I will admit I take reading for granted. Pat Williams shows us in ” Read For Your Life” that reading is a privilege. It is a skill that is rare and precious. He goes on to tell us written words are inspiring. Every time we open a book we travel to new places, we learn new things. Books comfort, instruct, and for some sets the course for the rest of their life. He takes us into the lives of many famous people and lets us see how books shaped their lives. Reading builds and exercises the mind. Reading educates us, increases our vocabulary, helps us to become better writers and thinkers.

After I read this book I was so inspired and moved. I never realized how lucky I was to have the gift of words in my life. This book will touch everyone who reads it.
